With all the space Crear Association have onsite in their library they have re-introduced the public library to the community.
With a bright new sign and the doors wide open, they have drawn in dozens of new visitors, including international students at Intercultura as well as the local students at Mareas Homeschool. Last Friday the students at Mareas came by the library on a little field trip.
Many of the children had not been through the library since its reopening. CREAR volunteers continue to manage and maintain the library and their current most vital tasks include registering with the national registry of libraries, assessing and renovating our after-school program as well as our English classes and reinstating a recycling stand in the nearby town of El Torito.
