This coming June, the Nosara Development Association (ADIN – Asociación de Desarrollo Integral de Nosara) will hold their general assembly to elect a new board of directors, as the current board will conclude its term in August.
The exact date for the assembly is not confirmed yet
Marcos Avila, ADIN’s current president, says he hopes he will be able to continue in the administration of the association, as he believes the group he leads has achieved important advances for the first time in Nosara. “It’s not possible for the associations to simply dedicate themselves to organizing the fiestas in January and April,” like what has been happening for years now, he commented, and it is necessary to find people who are committed to the community.
Any resident of Nosara can be nominated to be a member of ADIN.
