On Tuesday, January 8 more than 10 musicians who live in Guanacaste will give a concert at the Villa del Sueño Hotel in Playa Hermosa.
The activity will start at 5 p.m. and end at 7 p.m. Entry is free and open to the public.
The group of musicians are part of the Great Music project, a compilation album of 12 songs and two original pieces that includes rock, blues, instrumental and latin beats.
“The event will celebrate the launch of this album. All the musicians who participated in the project will perform,” said Allen Merril, music producer and owner of the Papagayo Music Studio, who also organized the event.
Tamela Hauer, a resident of Playas del Coco, will perform, as well as Joe Joe Hrbek from Tamarindo and Charly López from Playa Potrero.
López is from Montevideo, Uruguay and arrived in Santa Cruz, Guanacaste in 2005 to try his luck and “live outdoors as much as possible.”
In 1992, Charly played with heavy metal band Alvacast. Now, he roams the coastal bars at night.
