The seventh annual BMX WAR Jam, one of the most anticipated events of the year for fans of alternative cycling, will be held on February 22.

The venue will be the Nicoya Polideportivo sports complex, where local and international BMX riders will compete in two categories: Street, which consists of tricks on ramps, rails, crates and other obstacles, and Flatland, in which tricks are executed on the floor with body balance.

The competition will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature international judges like the French owner of Art magazine, Alain Massabova, and the Nicoyan event organizer, Luis Elias Benavides, who has also been a judge at the international level. Competitors will be evaluated based on originality, difficulty, variety and consistency, as well as their use of ramps and the tricks executed.
