Alfaro bus company will begin selling tickets online after the July holidays with a 10% to 12% surcharge on the price.
This was confirmed to The Voice of Guanacaste by company representative German Alfaro.
“It has been a complicated process. After several years, we have now found the best system,” the spokesman commented by telephone.
As of August, Nicoyans will be able to buy tickets in advance without having to go to the agency. They can also choose their preferred seat on the website, in the same way that is already done for routes such as Jaco-San Jose.
The service will be available for all destinations offered by the company, including Nosara.
If you do not want to pay the surcharge for the online service, the ticket can also be purchased with debit or credit card at the agency, but now with the same features as on the website: choose a seat and buy a round-trip ticket.
