Those who like to dance should get ready. This Saturday, May 31, the national band El Combo Style promises to move even those who have two left feet.

The group will play at the bar Pacifico Azul at 7 p.m. as part of a series of Fish Bar concerts. The concert will have an entrance fee of $5.

David Jimenez, singer and guitarist for the band, guarantees that El Combo Style is a mix of Latin rhythms with infusions of funk and hip hop.

“We have a completely original repertoire. We have a pure Latin music sound, but with sounds that make it more fresh and modern,” said the singer.

In addition to Jimenez, the group includes Marlo Cabeza on bass, Gerson Rodriguez on keyboard, Ariel Soto on drum set and Andres Alas on timbales and flute.

Though the band has been together for some six months, they have already toured through a variety of places in San Jose and Guanacaste.

In addition to El Combo Style, the group Lopez Lopez Drummer will play; the band has gained their own group of followers with their energetic rhythms throughout all the Fish Bar events.

Those interested in hearing Latin rhythms and also having dinner, reservations can be made by calling 2682-5456.
