The Voice Promotes Guanacastecan Photography Through Cell Phones

Esta publicación también está disponible en: Español

The Voice of Guanacaste trained more than 20 young people from La Cruz and Hojancha in basic photography and composition skills so they can make the most of their cell phones.

The workshops were held during February and were sponsored by the Culture Ministry’s Puntos de Cultura program. The Voice of Guanacaste’s professional photographer César Arroyo led the courses.

During the class, students had to go out and capture moments and scenes from their communities while using the camera’s functions for exposure, focus, saturation and other elements of photography.

With the goal of promoting photography among Guanacastecans, we selected these ten photos taken by the students that reflect many of the scenes and landscapes that can be seen in Guanacaste.
