The Bridges of Fray Casiano: What does it mean to walk on a bridge in poor condition?

Fray Casiano is the largest community in the Chacarita district where 3,000 people depend on two pedestrian bridges to cross the rest of Puntarenas. These two bridges are part of the 15 infrastructures that the Municipality of Puntarenas and the canton’s municipalities have failed to execute between 2011 and 2019. Together, these projects total ₡ 273 million without execution.
