Show Your Support for Pet Adoption!

The Voice of Nosara and Nosara Animal Care (NAC) are joining forces to find homes for abandoned dogs and cats in Nosara. With this campaign, you will get to know each of them better and also help them. Meet Nyla:

Name: Nyla

Age: 1 year old

Description: black female dog

Medical History: Spayed, soon to be vaccinated, is presently being treated for mange and skin problems. Her hair is beginning to grow in and soon she will be very pretty. She seems very healthy aside from the mange.

Background: Nyla was found in the streets of the Arenales neighbourhood fending for herself. Her original owner lives alone and is elderly and in poor health. He has been unable to care for her for quite a long time now. She has been surviving on scraps from neighbours and garbage in the street. She was very shy with people but is now friendly and loyal to her NAC foster caregiver.

If you want to help Nyla, share this story with your friends and family. You can contact Nosara Animal Care at [email protected] or on facebook at www.facebook.com/NACCostaRica
