Samara Surf Tournament
Live DJ and Good Surf, All Together in One Place

On Saturday, December 4th, local businesses sponsored a surf tournament at Samara Beach. Spectators enjoyed food, drinks and a live DJ while watching surfers compete in three divisions: Open, Juniors and Long Board. More >

Basic rules and etiquette of the lineup

It’s a busy time here in Nosara and there will be a lot of people out in the lineup. We urge you to be respectful to everyone in the water, beginners, locals, tourists etc. Surfing can be dangerous and local Doctor, Dr. Maurico Jimenez, says that the number of surf related injuries really starts to increase in December due to the crowded lineups.
