Invitation to Help-Learn how to Build a Traditional Cob Temascal
As a community we will gather to learn and how to build a traditional cob Temascal. Please come and celebrate this ancient way of coming together and creating a ceremonial structure. This will be a total hands-on learning experience. Be prepared to get down and dirty!!
Cob (cobb or clom) is a building material consisting of clay, sand, water, earth – similar to adobe. It is fireproof,inexpensive and resistant to seismic activity.
Our guide will take us through the steps of preparing the materials.
