On Tuesday afternoon, January 26th, the body of Douglas Humberto Gonzalez was found on the banks of the Nosara River.
The body was found about 500 meters from the fairgrounds, where the Nosara Civic Fiestas were held during the weekend of Saturday, the 23rd and Sunday, the 24th.
Apparently, this is a young 34-year-old man from Cobano, Puntarenas who resided in the vicinity of Santa Marta in the district of Nosara.
The body was found by a fisherman and the authorities were notified. Officers from the Judicial Investigation Organization (OIJ- Organismo de Investigacion Judicial) arrived at the scene at about 3:40 p.m. to investigate and then remove the body.
The cause of his death is unknown. The guy was seen dancing in the bull ring during the bull riding on Saturday, the 23rd.
