As of December, Guiones Beach in Nosara has a new open-air shopping center that will remain open all year round, rain or shine. We are talking about Gabi’s Play, located 100 meters south of Hotel Solo Bueno in the northern part of Guiones Beach.
This shopping center has the peculiarity of being built using nine containers joined together to form a square under a roof. Along with them, owner Jeffrey Pines installed a playground that can be used by children for free.
According to its owner, seven of the nine units are already rented. Café de Paris will occupy one unit to sell baked goods, there will be a mini cafe, a laundry, a law office, a restaurant bar, a national clothing store and a surf shop.
The shops, mainly food and drink vendors, are very close to the playground. Pines’ idea is for families to have a place to have a good time, eat something, drink coffee while their children play safely and within sight of them.
The complex is called Gabie’s in honor of little 3-year-old Gabriela, who is the owner’s daughter.
