The Costa Rican Cycling Federation approved holding the Annexation Classic from July 21st to 24th during the week of the July 25th celebrations.
According to Aider Acuña, president of the Nicoya Cycling Commission, preparations are already well along for the Classic, for which they will have alliance with sports committees of Carrillo, Hojancha, Nandayure and Santa Cruz.
The 2016 Annexation Classic will tour the lowlands of Guanacaste and will have legs in the cantons of Carrillo, Hojancha, Jicaral, Nicoya, Nandayure and Santa Cruz.
