The community of Playa Garza invites one and all to the fiestas to be held from February 28 to March 3, with lots of fun, good food and drinks.
The queen will be selected on Friday, February 28. Track and field competitions are scheduled for Saturday, March 1 and the horseback ride will be on Sunday, March 2.
The funds raised will go primarily to the sports field and then funds will also support the continuation of the Blue Flag project and the EBAIS clinic, according to Betsy Chavarria of the fiestas committee.
