On Saturday, February 31, hundreds of horse riders beautified the streets of Nosara to celebrate the traditional tope (horse parade) of the district’s fiestas. The event started at midday and finished at 5 p.m.
The parade proceeded for two kilometers, from downtown Nosara to the new fairgrounds between San Pedro and Santa Teresa.

Eder Espinoza, known as “Neno,” livens up the parade.

The Queen of the fiestas, Yarely Lopez, joined in the parade of riders.

Nosara syndic Betsy Castillo, a resident of Garza, participated in the parade.

Feminine beauty was one of the attractions at the Nosara parade. Francinny Gonzales is a clear example of the canton’s beautiful women.

Ethel Araya, a member of the Nosara Civic Association, made a great impression on her horse.

Juan Bermudez, left, is one of the organizers of the Nosara horse parade.
