Uber, a company that provides transportation for people, launched its Uber Air service today, on Friday, June 10, with a promotion that allows clients to win two plane tickets for destinations in Costa Rica on Nature Air airline.
The trips can be to places like Tamarindo, Nosara and Liberia, as well as Arenal, Drake Bay, Golfito, Tortuguero, Tambor, Punta Islita and Quepos.
People who request Uber Air and find a driver near their location will benefit, the company confirmed.
“Each winner’s prize will be delivered immediately. Once the vehicle drives away after being called, the participant is not entitled to claim it nor to expect any compensation,” the rules of the promotion indicate.
Uber rolled out the promotion to launch its Uber Air service in Costa Rica. The offer is valid until they run out of the existing 800 prizes to fly between July 13 and November 15, 2016.
Although the promotion went into effect at 9 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m., it is already hard to find a driver nearby to benefit, according to the testimony of several Uber clients in San Jose.
