On June 13th, Falcon Security officers managed to recover what was stolen by a pair of assailantsin an appliance warehouse in the San Martin neighborhood of Nicoya. Just one week later, on Sunday, June 21st, they managed to thwart the robbery of a workshop located on the outskirts of the colonial city, capturing individuals who broke into private property and handing them over to the Public Force.

Since April of 2013, a company that specializes in security services with a comprehensive focus has been available to the people of Guanacaste. A team of 20 officers, technicians and administrative staff offers rental services, sales and installationof security cameras with closed circuit television, alarm systems with monitoring and response and even satellite location systems (GPS) for vehicles, property and people.

They also offer perimeter security systems (electric fences) and work with equipment to detect and respond to fires which you can rent or buy.

The company operates in compliance with the Costa Rican legal framework and guidelines of the Private Security Services Administration of the Ministry of Public Security, as stated in the license of Physical and Electronic Security Number 0075-2013DSSP.

The company has installed alarm systems and cameras in Cobano, Santa Cruz, Upala, Nicoya, La Cruz, Hojancha, Nandayure and other locations.

Something very important is that they have their own Internet server to guarantee that the data collected ismaintained on the web, which means a great backup for the company’s customers.

Falcon Security also offers installation of bank-style panic buttons (hidden and silent onsite) in homes or businesses that hire the monitoring service with alarms and armed response, for a price of less than 1,000 colones (less than $2) per day, which means thatwhen activated, Falcon officersimmediately head to the site that reports the emergency without calling first to avoid arousing suspicion. Upon arrival at the site of the activated alarm, the officers will evaluate the current situation, make sure that those affected are fine and inspect the area around the property while taking video with audio to prepare a report for the client about what happened. The officers are properly trained and certified in physical security, weapons handling and first aid. They have two Honda 250 cc motorcycles and two Land Cruiser patrol units available that are labeled and equipped with specialized equipment to provide the best care and give service 24/7.

In the company, there are associates who speak English, French and Spanish, and their offices are in the La Cananga neighborhood of Nicoya, just in front of the office of the Ministry of Labor and the National Children’s Board (Patronato Nacional de la Infancia).
