This past Saturday December 14 was the 2nd Nosara Artisans Holiday Art Fair at The Gilded Iguana. Thirty artists living in Nosara displayed their ceramics, fabric art, furniture, glass art, jewelry, mosaics, paintings, photos, prints, upcycled art, and wood carving.

Several community organizations participated as well.  There was face painting for Escuelita Verano and holiday gifts from the new school Casa de Estrellas, located on Guiones point to raise money for their scholarship fund.

The Nosara Sustainable Cultural Committee sold local artworks and artists from the Nosara Recycling Center created beautiful upcycled baskets and jewelry.

Also, the Nosara Girl Scout troop, who made neat holiday ornaments, and all of the fair participants donated to Nosara Animal Care.

The fair was a success in thanks from the support of the Nosara community, the participating artists and everyone at The Gilded Iguana.

Nosara Artisans has 3 more art fairs planned for 2014 at The Gilded Iguana. The Saturday afternoon fairs will be held from 12-3pm on January 25th, February 22nd and March 29th.
