The La Esperanza Development Association is preparing to host fiestas in the community to raise funds for use in their own projects and to help the Nosara Red Cross.

The festivities will be held from December 12 to 15 and will commemorate the 20th anniversary of the association.

Rides, bulls, music and food sales are some of the highlights that those attending will enjoy.

Carlos Villalobos, head of Nosara Red Cross, said they are coordinating the logistical part in the festivities and that they are strategic partners of the Development Association.

Villalobos said the main attraction will be the bull riding, during which Torotón will be called, and they expect to have nine livestock ranches participating, including La Nueva Esperanza, Playa Garza and its main opponent: the famous bull Malacrianza.

The Red Cross will use funds obtained from the celebrations to build a roof for the station’s garage since the units currently get wet when it rains and receive direct sunlight during the day. In addition, they will condition the station’s bathrooms and laundry room.

The organizers invite everyone to take advantage of the opportunity to have fun with family and friends and contribute to a worthy cause.
