International Food for the Soul

Esta publicación también está disponible en: Español

Since January 2015, the restaurant and juice bar at Bodhi Tree Yoga Resort next to the Nosara Yoga Institute are open to the public. This restaurant’s food will fill the body, soul and mind, because not only will you eat healthy food that tastes good, but you can also appreciate Nosara’s forest from three stories up.

The service is buffet style and you can help yourself as many times as you want, with international recipes that change daily. The only thing that is always there for sure is the salad with organic ingredients: oranges, cherry tomatoes, beets, sprouts, pineapple, kale and spinach.

If you like spices, you might love to go on a day when Indian food is being served, heavily seasoned with turmeric, cilantro, cardamom and ginger. Vegetables and chicken curry, lentil dahl and basmati rice are also served.

The Costa Rican dish is a casado with rice, beans, salad, avocado, plantains, chicken in sauce and chopped vegetables. And the Italian menu includes zucchini lasagna and pasta with mozzarella cheese, spaghetti with tomato sauce, fish with onions and whole wheat bread with pesto. Monday and Thursday are sushi nights. To go with dinner, there are organic wines for $8 and craft beers for $5. Breakfast costs $12, lunch $17 and dinner $22.

At the juice bar, you can find natural juices for $5, coffee and smoothies with vegetarian milks made from almond, coconut and coconut water for $6.

Reservations are recommended for dinner at 2682-0256.
