KFC Will Open Restaurant in Nicoya on Thursday, June 23

The wait to eat KFC’s fried chicken is over for residents of Nicoya, since the the fast food restaurant’s doors will open this Thursday, June 23, located at the city’s main entrance.

According to the KFC chain’s press release, the site created 30 jobs for people who live in the area, who will be responsible for preparing and serving the chicken. The facility has an area of 309.83 square meters (3,335 square feet) and room for 100 people.

Isidro Perera, general manager for KFC, said that employees were trained in San Jose.

 

 

Approximately US$1.5 million was invested in building and developing this new location. The restaurant offers self-service and will be open seven days a week with hours from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

KFC is coming to Nicoya after Burger King pulled out of the country and left the business location open.
