Living Hotel Expands Services

The Living Hotel is now a whole complex of services to cater to health-conscious guests. Located across from the Mini Super Delicias del Mundo, it is fully operational this high season with its own Living Café restaurant, full service spa, yoga classes, Nosaranet office center, bike rentals, surf lessons and airport transportation.  Ricardo Micali opened the hotel a year ago but now has all services available to his guests on site, with the assistance of his partners, Heather Lundy and Michelle Vergara.

“Guests like the intimate setting for half the price of other boutique style hotels in Guiones. We have a nice vibe and a great location with the beach close, many good restaurants and the super[market] nearby,” Micali said.”

The hotel has nine rooms, five singles and two duplexes with shared bathrooms.  Two sets of rooms connect, providing convenience for families.  All rooms have air conditioning, a mini fridge, safes and WiFi. A continental breakfast is included with the regular room rate but all meals can be included in the stay if the guest selects this option. They offer groups of up to 18 yoga students a hotel take-over complete with three meals a day. Room rates range from $90-$110 in the high season and from $65-85 in the green season.  Holiday rates are slightly higher.

A large rancho at the center of the property “is the living room for all guests,” explained Lundy. It includes a loft for yoga classes and movie nights.  “That’s why it’s called the Living Hotel.”

The Living Café and the Living Spa are open to the public, along with a Thursday evening restorative yoga class for $12, $10 for locals. The Living Hotel is located just north of the Gilded Iguana.  The hotel’s website is www.livinghotelnosara.com.  For more information, call 2682-5201.
