It is a grand surf fiesta, a very important tournament for Nosara and an altruistic stimulus in the district. We’re talking about the Triple Crown Surf Tournament, which will start this Saturday, February 28th in Guiones Beach.
The surf conference will continue on two more dates, on March 28th in Garza and the final on April 25th in Guiones Beach, where, according to Oscar Diaz, president of Nosara Surf Association, the event will include the participation of surfers from around the country.
“We are going to have participants with a very high level of surfing. There are several renowned surfers who will be attending our tournaments. Soon people will figure out who they are,” Diaz said.
In this fourth year of the tournament, the money raised will go to the Nosara Security Association.
“We believe that security is a very important factor and we should support it for a safe community where we can all enjoy the beauty of this area of Nosara with complete tranquility, at the same time promoting more domestic and international tourism,” Diaz commented.
The tournaments will always be accompanied by DJs, and although Diaz prefers to keep some things a surprise, he revealed that the closing day will have concerts by nationally known groups.

Prices: Participation in the tournament will be $10 for membership and $20 per person per tournament. This amount applies to all categories.
