They are called Los Ajenos (The Strangers), but for the people of Nicoya, they are more familiar than many other groups since this band debuted in this canton of Guanacaste and now they will be one of the main events of the 2015 Nicoya fiestas, which will be held from February 4 to 9.

The irreverent musicians will spice up the festivities on Sunday, February 8, at 3 p.m. with a free concert at the fairgrounds, where they will present the show La Fabrica de Locura (The Factory of Insanity), accompanied by Panamanian Martin Machore.

“I always spent time going to the Nicoya fiestas to see the performers that came, and now it’s like a dream to be able to encourage the town,” commented Luisga Loria, the band’s singer.

According to the Nicoyan singer, the show is a little more than an hour long and they will share the stage with the Panamanian singer, with songs like Loco (Crazy), the new single.

“The show is super interactive. It has so many surprises. More than that, I could say that every two songs we have a surprise,” Loria assured.
