The 11th annual Ship of Fools fishing tournament will be held again this year at Playa Garza. There will be two days of fishing, April 17th and April 18th, and an awards ceremony and party April 19th at 4:00. The entry fee is $250 a boat for 4 anglers. T-shirts for each day fishing are included for the captain, mate, and 4 anglers. Awards will be given for the first, second, and third place boats along with a calcutta competition for the largest tuna and dorado. There will also be a raffle to win a free half day fishing charter on one of at least seven boats from Garza bay. It’s not to late to sign up for the tournament or buy a raffle ticket. The captain’s meeting will be held at Marlin Bill’s April 15th at 6:30. All proceeds will go to the Asada of Garza.
