Hundreds of runners gathered in front of the San Blas Church in Nicoya to give their best in the first Colonial Race of Nicoya 2013, which was held successfully despite the rain.













A chip was placed in each runner's shoe to keep an exact record of time made during the race.

Adults and children ran in the race, like this little 6-year-old who surprised everyone by finishing the race.
